For the past several months I have been releasing a new chapter of Pushing Back, the first book in the Boone series, every Wednesday morning. The book is now complete and free for the listening. All chapters are available at the links listed below. Early in the new year I’ll begin serializing another of my books (haven’t decided which one yet). Until them, enjoy getting to know Boone, and be sure to check out the next two books in the series, Matching Scars and Keeping Secrets, when you finish the podcast. They are available in both print and ebook formats.
Also available is my reading of Journey, a short fictional piece of an anonymous teen’s struggles with the first steps from rage and despair to the beginnings of self-understanding. Realistic language makes this work unsuitable for young listeners.
The most recent addition is my reading of an essay I wrote for Karen Krogh’s excellent book, Love is the Spirit, an examination in photographs of the aftermath of the shooting at Tennessee Valley Unitarian Universalist Church in July of 2008.
Here are a few places you can go to access the podcast:
iTunes – search for “House Mountain Views”
I’m introducing a new option for those of you who are interested in my children’s books. All four are available (English versions only) as Youtube videos on my channel, House Mountain Views. Print copies are, of course, still available on Amazon and through my website, housemountainviews.com, in both English and Spanish versions.
