Today is the 1-year anniversary of my granddaughter McKinley’s bone marrow transplant, made necessary because the chemo she had to treat her leukemia was ineffective. Now that it’s been a year, she will no longer be under the care of a BMT specialist and will now be treated by an oncologist. 

The world is truly awash in miracles, if we allow ourselves the gift of seeing them.
